Found from Poland to Croatia and most everywhere in between, Potica is commonly referred to as a nut roll in America. Ours is baked with ground walnuts, local AZ honey, cinnamon, clove and a touch of vanilla OR poppy seeds and lemon zest swirled throughout the roll.
The small size is close to that of an oversized bagel, while the large is four times the size. Smalls are available in limited quantities at farmers markets year-round. Large is available around holidays at markets, and also by request.
